Middle school provides opportunities for enhancement and application of learned literacy and numeracy competencies to varied content areas.
The objectives of Middle School are to provide learners avenues for:
- Further enhancement of literacy and numeracy skills as preparation for the academic demands of high school;
- Application of higher order thinking skills to be able to adjust, decide, and respond appropriately to varied situations; and
- Further development of knowledge, skills, and attitudes to participate effectively in community- and nation-building activities. (DO 21, s.2019)
